How to Add Unisa Modules. If you’re a Unisa student registered for 2020 and you want to add modules for the second semester, be sure to do so before the deadline comes.
How Do I Add Modules?
- Log on to myUnisa(link is external)
- Choose the myAdmin link
- Click on “Student Admin”
- Click on “Register Additional Modules”.
Unisa has clarified the following, “You do not need to register these modules on the registration website – you can simply add your modules on myUnisa.”
Unisa is a university that uses the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) method and in that way, students can have their own work schedule. Applying to universities will find some students asking questions and needing guidance. Unisa applications are open throughout the year, depending on the courses available.
The University is currently having an Independent Review done looking into their operations. This was ordered by the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande. This review will look into the “mission drift” seen at Unisa.
Unisa was originally meant to provide higher education to people working and then they would study part-time but now it has students who are not working and are instead studying full-time from home. This then begs the question, should Unisa be for full-time or part-time students? The task team is currently working to investigate.
The closing date to add modules is Wednesday 5 August 2020.
